Like many others, I bought this after becoming frustrated with the Hornady bullet feeder die + tubes. I've only got ~700 rounds through the DAA bullet feeder, but so far, I'm impressed. It was much easier to set up and tune than the Hornady, and the design seems much less prone to failure. For those who have the Hornady already, I've found that the DAA bullet feeder works just fine with the Hornady PTX, so you can get away with buying just the DAA die and bullet magazine(s) and you'll be set. The only reason I'm not giving this product 4 stars is that if you're starting from nothing, it's roughly 3x as expensive as the Hornady. The die design is simpler, so I'm not sure why it's more expensive. The magazines, on the other hand, are easily worth the added price over the Hornady tubes.

These bullet feed dies are the best available , I have 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP and they all work great with no problems

I have them for 9mm and 45acp. They work perfectly once mounted on the press... but that is the issue. It seems the die threads “bell out” slightly near the beginning making it so tight you cannot easily screw them into place. I had to get a 7/8” thread die to chase the threads. Worked great after that. Little disappointed that it had to be done but the results are worth it. No comparison don’t waste your money on the Hornady die.

The die assembly arrived quickly. Setup was easy on my Lee Loadmaster. I use poly-coated lead bullets for reloading and this die feeds them without issue. A couple of notes. 1. If you take the die assembly apart there are 3 small BB's inside that will come out easily as the only thing holding them in is the die body. 2. If you have any bullets left in the die, run the ram up, and it depresses the plunger, the next bullet will fall out onto the shell plate. These two things are not a default of the die but an operational thing to be aware of.

The bullet feeder works well and is easy to set up. The only complaint I have is that the die body was tighter than I expected to screw into the toolhead (I have no issue with any other die). I expected to screw it down finger tight but I couldn't screw it down without a little help from a pair of channel locks. I used a rag between the die and the channel locks to keep from damaging the die.

This is by far the BEST bullet feeder I have ever used. I tried LEE, RCBS and Hornady and yes they work but you have to keep on top of them. With Mr Bullet Feeder, you set it and go. I have used it on jacket bullets and lead lubed bullets and powder coated bullets both in 9mm and .38 cal. It works great.
