This machine is great.
Had a serious problem with a ton of 6.5PRC cases that have been reloaded so many times I lost track. It resulted in very hard bolt lifts. After some research I found out why. So I found this cool little machine. And it fixed it. No more hard bolt lifts and factory spec bases.
The Universal Rollsizer fixed it. It roll sized my case head dimension back to factory specs. It was ridiculously easy to figure out right out of the box, even though there's tons of info here and in online videos. I was sizing cases in about 10 minutes after unboxing it. And there's a couple of bonuses I noticed right away. 1, it does just about every caliber, pistol or rifle. I've only used it on MY rifle cases but I can see where it would work everywhere else. It does all 6 calibers I load for from .223 all the way up to my 50bmg cases. It's a do all machine. And 2, once you get a case sized where you want it, you can write down the numbers on the vernier dial for future reference. I tried it and it worked. Extremely repeatable results. But I will add roll sizing into my procedures for my reloading steps. Right between annealing and sizing. And it works much easier if you mount it to your bench. It doesn't take much because it's really smooth and takes almost no effort so there's no real torque.
I'm very glad that I bought the manual model. I feel it gives me just a little bit more control of the process. This machine is so smooth and built like a little bench top tank. I can't really find any problems with it. If I could change 1 thing it might be the ability to fine tune the Height Adjustment shim. But that's not really a huge thing. Like I said it did all my calibers and I didn't have to change it at all. I set it and forget it.
In conclusion, I love this machine. It's going to save me a ton of money in replacing cases, as long as there's no split necks or other obvious damage that would make the case unusable, of course. Just follow the instructions and you're off to the races, as we say here in the US. This is the 2nd item I've bought from an Australian company that blew my mind. Another amazing machine from Australia. They sure do know their stuff.
