DAA Ratchet Belt
4 Jan 2025
I don’t think I can ever go back to using a belt without the ratchet function. I use this standard ratchet belt and a lynx ratchet belt, and both work very well. I’ve tried a lot of other standard belts, and I should have just started with these.

Links of the Lynx Belt

I used these to build a Lynx belt for use with a DAA inner belt I already had (I use the standard ratchet belt with a second setup). I’m really liking this belt so far. I’ve been losing weight, and it allows me to remove a link at a time to dial in the fit. Pouches and holster remain sturdy.

DAA PRIMAFILL GEN-2

This seems to be better built than the Frankford Arsenal vibrating primer tool. It works about the same, but the DAA product has a little more clearance between the two plastic plates. When vibrating, it has a tendency to flip over some of the small pistol primers I was using. That can be mitigated by paying attention when pressing the vibrate button, but it is slightly annoying.

Works very well with my Hornady AP. The adjustments were a little tricky to understand at first, but everything made sense after watching the device function for a few minutes. After initial adjustments, I’ve had no issues. I bought several of the removable bullet plates and keep on ready for the different types of 9mm bullets I’m loading. It’s a great option that takes 5 seconds to do a bullet changeover.

DAA Ratchet Belt

The sizing chart was off - go to the next size and it's perfect. I LOVE this rachet belt. The velcro belt i was using before would sink lower and annoy my hip after a few hours. This snugs up nicely, i wish someone had recommended it to me the first time. When you're carrying an all steel gun and six mags all morning, it helps to be able to click the belt into place.
