Mr.BulletFeeder by DAA Die Assembly Only
12 Aug 2024
Purchased the Mr. Bulletfeeder Die Assembly to use on a second tool head on my Dillon 650. This made changing toolheads by only disconnecting the Mr. Bullet feed line from one head and reconnecting it to the second toolhead a quick change. Received this item from Double Alpha promptly. I recommend purchasing from Double Alpha.

DAA 6-Mag Rack

Great in theory, however poor manufacturing lets it down. I now have four of these and all but one have inconsistencies in the size of the pouches meaning that if you load them up with magazines and throw them in your bag, some of the magazines will fall out. This is a bit irritating and should be better controlled by DAA.

DAA PRIMAFILL

I have both Dillon and DAA primer tubes for small pistol primers. The DAA tubes loaded flawlessly, while the Dillon's hung up now and again. I measured the inside diameter of the tubes and found that the DAA tubes had an interior diameter at the feed end on 4.67mm, while the Dillons were closer to 4.62mm. A few quick little passes with a round file later, and the Dillon tubes loaded flawlessly. Not sure if the file just removed some burrs or the least bit of material, but that 0.05mm difference made the Primafill work perfectly. YMMV. I do wish that the lid fit a little closer so that primers couldn't flip over with the lid in place. I've had to stop a couple of times when I have seen a primer flip over in the tray. However, overall, a great product that performs very well.

Mr. Bulletfeeder Pro

As you can imagine, RocketFire makes a lot of ammo in many different calibers and all of our machines have Mr. Bulletfeeders. Our Apex 10's have Mr. Bulletfeeder Pros because they need the larger hopper. The smaller Dillon's use the regular size units (the new Gen2 model is terrific!) and everything works great. It does take some time to get everything adjusted and watching the videos is suggested. With a little patience and tinkering, you too should have a great loading experience with this unit.

PrimeVibe Primer Tube Filler

I really wanted this product to work as advertised, I tried it with both large and Small Primers and it was terrible. Adjusted frequency as recommended, tried setting the unit different surfaces etc and never could get it to work well. It would take five to eight minutes to load 100 primers and most of the time I had to be there coaxing it. I sent videos back to DAA and they told me to return it and they would take a look at it and replace it if necessary. When they received it back I was told that it was working as designed so I opted for a refund. I was very disappointed in this product as I own many DAA products and before this was very happy with everything I’ve purchased from them. DAA: The unit was received at Alpha Dynamics and thoroughly tested. It worked perfectly, filling the primer tube in under 2 min. Since Mr. Robertson did not provide us with pictures or video of the performance issues he was experiencing on his reloading bench, we were, unfortunately, unable to figure out the cause for his issue, on his bench.

DAA Magnetic Powder Check 2.0
8 Aug 2024
The product as made is useless on .223 or any small mouth cartridges. The rod, correctly installed per instructions, moves too much side to side and catches on the mouth of the case, making is useless for powder checking. It appears the plastic insert for rifle use allows way to much movement of the powder check rod. If, possibly, there was a way to hold that rifle insert piece snug against the die, it could possible keep the rod from moving so much. Problem is whatever the weight, it could not be magnetic. There needs to be a fix to make this a worthwhile powder check for .223/5.56 cases.
