Mr.BulletFeeder Pre-Set Nose-Guide
19 Jul 2023
When I purchased the Mr. Bullet Feeder for 9mm I had envisioned using it for the multiple other calibers I reload for as well. However after the setup and fiddling with the shims and spacers to get it to feed smoothly, I was reluctant to change over to another caliber as I didn't want to have to re-do all of the work getting the 9mm to feed right. The Pre-Set nose guide solves that problem by allowing you to set all of the parameters for a bullet type and then slide it out and slide in a new one for a different bullet type and or caliber. This invention has opened the door to using the Mr. Bullet Feeder for all of the calibers and bullet types I use. Well done!

Replaces original buckle of the Lynx belt quite easily. Excellent on holding the outside belt firm on the inner velcro belt. Applies pressure as needed..very clever...

I noticed a couple of the guys at my club had these ratchet buckles on their linx belts as I was struggling with keeping my original buckle fastened. Bought one immediately and am glad I did. Very easy to install and way more secure.

Lyman Power Trim Xpress

I think this is one of the best buys I've made for loading 223, but I had one issue that I think could of been designed better and I have sent an email to Lyman/Mark 7 about this. The hole in the trimmer die adapter is around 25,5mm. The guide on the trimmer body(motor) is 25mm and the chuck(for the end mill) is 24,8-24,9 mm. Chuck being almost as wide as the guide on the motor really makes the guide useless. If I just put the trim die adapter on the trimmer body and tighten the screws the chuck will hit the die adapter inside. So that's why only 4 stars. For myself I ended up using a lathe and turning some more room for the chuck inside the trimmer die adapter and making ring around the guide so that the trimmer body and the adapter would have a snug fit. Anyways trimming has been a pain in my neck for a long time and this just makes it effortless. I also highly recommend using Lyman M-die or similar afterwards since this does not deburr cases. Helps a lot when using soft bullets eg. Hornady 55gr FMJ-BT.

Lyman Pro Trim Die

I bought one for 223 to use with Mark 7 trimmer. I use this die in the next stage right after FL sizing die. I had adjusted my sizing die so that two headspace gauges and two barrels confirmed it to be ok. How ever the trim die was so tight that some (yes, lubricated) cases got stuck in it even when the mouth of an over length case was not even through to the cutting area. Even worse the cases that didn't get stuck didn't go to headspace after that and what's kinda funny was that those cases came out longer than when they went in. And of course the cases came back with a lot of scratches as the inner surface of the die looked like a face of Freddie Kruger/Deadpool offspring. I probably got the friday afternoon model... Lyman responded to my inquiries by saying that I had set the die too low - when the case was not even high enough to be cut - and should I continue to have problems I should polish the inner surface with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper. So I made couple of 223 shaped sandpaper holders for a drill, started with 400 grit working up to 2000 and some polishing to finish it off. Well - now it works. 2 stars since at least the outside was ok.
