I have for the most part been happy with the stock Dillon casefeeder plates in most calibers, but when it comes to .38 Special and .357 Magnum, they leave a lot to be desired. The small Dillon plate is excruciatingly slow since the .38/.357 case rim barely fits in the holes, and the large plate jams frequently because two cases can squeeze into one hole. The DAA casefeed plate was the solution to my problems, I can now load .38 Special and .357 Magnum as fast as I can load the smaller pistol calibers. I am sure there is an increase in speed with other calibers as well, but the output with the mentioned calibers is monumental, and has literally increased several hundred percent. Excellent case feeder plate. It has eliminated case jams and inverted cases.

This plate allows my Dillon variable speed feeder to keep up with the commercial roll sizer running all 6 pins. Also helps with the upside down case issue and and reduces this problem.

The addition of this shell plate and included excess brass control finger reduced my inverted cartridge rate to less than one percent. My factory Dillon XL750 shell plate and hardware that was designed to reduce bind up in the shell carrier had about a 6% error rate which was maddening. I have had an opportunity to deal with a few other Double Alpha products concerns on products they have made for other well known manufacturers, when the manufacturer declined to honor warranty terms, double alpha came through. I buy items for their quality hoping not to use their warranty, but things happen beyond the control of the manufacturer, it’s nice to have a go to company like double alpha to reduce the issue of making decisions regarding quality vs cost.

With this plate the case feeder can easy keep up with the comercial size rollsizer.
