Better than the Dillon hex key holder. Seems sturdy. Easy to install.
Rating: (5 of 5 Stars!)

Description:

The DAA Reloading-Press Tool-Holder is a practical and convenient way to hold those critical hex keys, spare parts and small tools you need to have easy access to you as you operate your reloading press.

Made of durable glass-fiber reinforced nylon, and rubber paint coated for an attractive finish and feel. The tool holder is designed to mount onto the vertical case-feeder support pole on either a round or square 1” profile pipe, as used on the Dillon RL1100/1050/750/650 reloading presses. An adaptor piece is included, to be used when mounting to a round pipe.

To mount, simply loosen the screws, fit over the pipe and tighten the screws.

The Tool-Holder includes contoured pockets designed to perfectly hold a full set (7 pcs) of the DAA or Dillon Dipped Ball-End Hex Keys (optional sold separately). An addition slot is perfectly shaped to hold the DAA Box-End Die Wrench or the Dillon Die wrench, and an additional 3 vertical holes are suitable for holding screw-drivers or other useful tools.

In the center of the tool-holder is a large cavity perfect for storing small spare parts such as die nuts, decapping pins, locator pins or tabs and so on. And in additional, an internal magnet is embedded in the side panel closest to the user, making it possible to hold other small metallic parts or tools, stuck to the outer surface of the tool holder!

A truly versatile and super-convenient additional to any reloaders Press.

NOTE: Tools and spare parts shown in the pictures are NOT included with the tool holder!

I like the matte and smooth finish, it looks great and it holds all the tools I need. The magnetic side is very smart and useful. The only thing I don’t really like is the mount system, it doesn’t keep the tool-holder in position very well, I had to add some tape to keep it from moving around too much

received my tool holder for my dillon xl750,puy it on and the tightened the screw ,then put my most used tools on it and it would fall down as i would use my press, ,easy fix ..What i did was put it back in place where i wanted it ,then i put a small zip tie around the case feeder pole underneath the tightened part..works great now..doesn't move..still a good product..thanks Double Alpha

I was really looking forward to getting this to keep the common used tools at hand. I wasn't too put off by the fact that the included screws are not the same size as the tools that are included (as mentioned in other reviews)... but I can overlook that (even though it only makes sense that Tab A should fit Slot A).
My biggest gripe on this is the way that it mounts to the vertical tube. The material is pliable enough that when you tighten the screws, the side opposite really do not tighten around the tube. Even when tightened as much as it can be (which is only so much, because the captive nuts spin), the holder can still spin and fall down the tube.
My next gripe is one of the holes for the hex key isn't large enough so it sits above all the others.

DAA reply:

Hi Brian,

You are right about the keys not fitting the screw in the product itself We will consider changing that for the next run. We always use Metric Screws in Europe, and the key set (which is a separate product by the way, are all Inch keys for the Dillon press).

Tool holder sliding: try to turn the spacer piece upside-down, inserting it from below. that will grip tighter. If not enough, one layer of black electric type around the pole where you wish to position it will surely prevent it sliding.

If one of your tool holes seems small, it is probably due to the rubber coating on that key being too thick. That rubber dip process is not very precise for thickness. Cut away a little of the rubber coating, and your key should seat like all the others.

Mounted it to my Dillon XL750 casefeeder pole. After finding the proper spot I now have my often used tools at hand.

Not that I am adjusting the press constantly, but it saves you time looking for the default tools.

Works like it is supposed too. Mounts out of the way and is easily accessible. Like the magnetic side to allow use of placing items there. That was a plus.
